GPR combined with a positioning system to detect anti-personnel landmines
2015 8th International Workshop on Advanced Ground Penetrating Radar (IWAGPR), 2015Landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW) are a serious problem in many countries around the world. In 2012, there were, on average, ten casualties per day globally [1]. Anti-Personnel (AP) landmines have been developed to have only a small amount of metal content, thus making them harder to find with metal detectors. Often there is less metal in a

A Personnel Position System of the wave on the Beach Based on Internet of Things
2012 IEEE Symposium on Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEESYM), 2012To be aimed at the wave, in order to understand the operating personnel in the specific location of beach. A personnel position system based on Internet of Things is designed in this paper. First, account for the wave on the beach, introduced the concept of the middleware of internet of things, the basic activities and characteristics.

Design of Personnel Position System of Mine Based on ZigBee Technology
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014China’s present communication systems in coal mine can not effectively transfer information. Hence, rescue efforts are hard to be carried out in case of coal mine accident. To deal with this problem, a method of mine wireless communication system with low-power dissipation based on Zigbee wireless technology is presented.

Laboratory Animals, 1995
Most local barrier systems are designed primarily either to protect animals from airborne contamination (exclusion) or to ensure the safety of personnel (hazard containment). Few, other than isolators, are able to cope with the often conflicting demands to do both.
