A Bespoke Programmable Interpenetrating Elastomer Network Composite Laryngeal Stent for Expedited Paediatric Laryngotracheal Reconstruction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A programmable interpenetrating double‐network architecture, created via 3D‐TIPS printing and resin infusion, synergistically combines thermoplastic and thermosetting elastomers to balance structural rigidity and surface softness—crucial for paediatric laryngeal stents.

the explanation of opposition of Thought and act in Farabie's and Avecina's view [PDF]

open access: yesاخلاق وحیانی, 2015
The soul’s tendency as the origin of intentional act is considered by Farabi and Avesina. the votes effects of capricious wind and the acts consequences of tendencies causes the importance of discussion about the emotional acts origin.

Persuasion bias, social influence, and uni-dimensional opinions. [PDF]

open access: yes
We propose a boundedly rational model of opinion formation in which individuals are subject to persuasion bias; that is, they fail to account for possible repetition in the information they receive.

A Comparative Analysis of Plasmonic and Dielectric Metasurface Sensing Platforms Powered by Bound States in the Continuum

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work reveals a fundamental trade‐off between plasmonic and dielectric metasurfaces for molecular sensing. A clear performance crossover is identified: dielectric metasurfaces excel in air, while plasmonic metasurfaces dominate in lossy solvents. These results establish design rules for infrared metasurface sensors and enable optimized performance ...

Microsphere Autolithography—A Scalable Approach for Arbitrary Patterning of Dielectric Spheres

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MicroSphere Autolithography (µSAL) enables scalable fabrication of patchy particles with customizable surface motifs. Focusing light through dielectric microspheres creates well defined, tunable patches via a conformal poly(dopamine) photoresist. Nearly arbitrary surface patterns can be achieved, with the resolution set by the index contrast between ...

Monte Carlo simulations of the Ising and the Sznajd model on growing Barabasi - Albert networks

open access: yes, 2003
The Ising model shows on growing Barabasi - Albert networks the same ferromagnetic behavior as on static Barabasi - Albert networks. Sznajd models on growing Barabasi - Albert networks show an hysteresis like behavior.

High‐Rate FA‐Based Co‐Evaporated Perovskites: Understanding Rate Limitations and Practical Considerations to Overcome Their Impact

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Vacuum‐based deposition is promising for perovskite solar cells to be successfully commercialized. However, co‐evaporation, the most common vapor phase deposition technique, suffers from very low deposition rates. In this work, we reveal that high deposition rates can lead to carbon flakes depositing into the perovskite absorber layers due to material ...

Persuasão e dinamismo psíquico: investigações na história da cultura ocidental

open access: yesArquivos Brasileiros de Psicologia, 2014
The purpose is to prove, from a multidisciplinary and historical perspective, the process that transformed the persuasion addressee &– from an active and critical subject into a passive product consumer. In Western culture history, two different concepts

Thickness‐Dependent Skyrmion Evolution in Fe3GeTe2 During Magnetization Reversal

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Thickness‐ and field‐dependent magnetic domain behavior in 2D van der Waals Fe3GeTe2 is studied using Lorentz TEM and micromagnetic simulations. A patch‐like domain phase evolves from skyrmions during magnetization reversal, and step edges between thickness regions act as pinning sites.
