Quarkonium states in an anisotropic quark-gluon plasma
In this work we study the properties of quarkonium states in a quark-gluon plasma which, due to expansion and non-zero viscosity, exhibits a local anisotropy in momentum space.

Quark model of nucleon based on an analogy with polaron
We demonstrate that the polaron theory from solid state physics can serve as an interesting analogue model for non-perturbative QCD, at least in the description of nucleons and related low-energy physics of strong interactions.

On perturbative scattering amplitudes in maximally supersymmetric theories
PhDThere has been substantial calculational progress in the last few years in maximally supersymmetric theories, revealing unexpected simplicity, new structures and symmetries. In this thesis, after reviewing some of the recent advances in N = 4 super

This series of lectures consists of two parts. In the first part the foundations of perturbative and non perturbative formulation are discussed. The ambiguity in the definition of vacuum condensates is then analyzed. In the second part the symmetry patterns of the deconfining phase transition are discussed.
