Extensions of the Pesaran, Shin and Smith (2001) Bounds Testing Procedure
We replicate the Pesaran, Shin and Smith (2001) bounds testing procedure (BTP), and extend it with 6 new cases, 4 of which involve a quadratic trend. We provide critical values for the BTP of the lagged regressors in levels under the framework of unrestricted error-correction models (UECMs) to account for degenerate cases of co-integration. Further, we

LOCAL ASYMPTOTIC POWER OF THE IM-PESARAN-SHIN PANEL UNIT ROOT TEST AND THE IMPACT OF INITIAL OBSERVATIONS [PDF]
In this note we derive the local asymptotic power function of the standardized averaged Dickey–Fuller panel unit root statistic of Im, Pesaran, and Shin (2003, Journal of Econometrics, 115, 53–74), allowing for heterogeneous deterministic intercept terms.

The Incidental Parameters Problem in Testing for Remaining Cross-section Correlation [PDF]
In this paper we consider the properties of the Pesaran (2004, 2015a) CD test for cross-section correlation when applied to residuals obtained from panel data models with many estimated parameters.

Large Panels with Common Factors and Spatial Correlations [PDF]
This paper considers the statistical analysis of large panel data sets where even after conditioning on common observed effects the cross section units might remain dependently distributed.

Identification and Estimation in an Incoherent Model of Contagion [PDF]
This paper deals with the issues of identification and estimation in the canonical model of contagion advanced in Pesaran and Pick (2007). The model is a two-equation nonlinear simultaneous equations system with endogenous dummy variables; it also ...
