Ecological Entomology, EarlyView.Social bees, especially Meliponini, formed a persistent core that maintained plant–bee interactions across both dry and green seasons in the Caatinga. Persistence was not linked to broader diets; social bees used fewer plant species, despite availability, indicating selective tracking of temporally concentrated floral resources.
