Tunnel Technique With Connective Tissue Graft Versus Free Gingival Graft for Multiple Gingival Recessions in the Anterior Mandible: A Randomized Clinical Trial

Both techniques were effective in treating multiple mandibular gingival recessions, resulting in a significant reduction in recession depth after 12 months. Free gingival graft showed a more predictable approach for keratinized tissue gain. In contrast, the tunnel technique was superior in healing outcomes.

Urban ants as potential mechanical vectors of pathogenic and antibiotic‐resistant bacteria in a Brazilian hospital

Nine ant taxa were identified in a Brazilian hospital, with Tapinoma melanocephalum and Dorymyrmex brunneus being the most abundant. Eighty‐five percent of collected ants yielded detectable bacterial growth, including clinically relevant genera such as Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas, Escherichia coli and Pluralibacter.
