Locking Metastable Topological Domains in Nematic Liquid Crystal Pi Cells
Selective photopolymerization in the presence of a controlled voltage defines permanent director walls that lock‐in metastable bend and twist configurations within nematic liquid crystal Pi cells. Q‐tensor simulations corroborate the experiments, demonstrating the topological state stabilization.

Radiation dose-rate is a neglected critical parameter in dose–response of insects
Reproductive sterility is the basis of the sterile insect technique (SIT) and essential for its success in the field. Numerous factors that influence dose–response in insects have been identified. However, historically the radiation dose administered has

Self‐Immolative Activatable Nanoassembly toward Immuno‐Photodynamic Therapy in TME
A quinone methide‐gated, self‐immolative, H2O2‐responsive nano‐photosensitizer (Pyz/PS) is developed for targeted immuno‐photodynamic therapy. Pyz/PS selectively activates within tumor microenvironments, restores photosensitizer activity, generates ROS, and depletes intracellular GSH, enhancing oxidative stress.

AbstractCoffee pests have been estimated to cause losses of about 13% of the world yield but are most serious in Africa, particularly where Arabica coffee is grown. Coffee pests are normally indigenous and except for the berry borer beetle (Hypothenemus hampei Ferrari) there has been little movement between the main production areas.
