Pest risk analysis of Metcalfa pruinosa in Austria
Journal of Pest Science, 2010The North American planthopper Metcalfa pruinosa (Say, 1830) (Hemiptera: Flatidae) was accidentally introduced into Europe, and subsequently caused economic damage to orchards and vineyards in some South-European countries. In 2003, a mass occurrence of M. pruinosa was discovered in Vienna, followed by new infestations of several sites.

Technical Report: Pest Risk Analysis for Alternanthera philoxeroides
2015Alternanthera philoxeroides presents a high phytosanitary risk for the EPPO region with a low uncertainty rating. A. philoxeroides is already present in the EPPO region in France and Italy. Further spread within and between EPPO countries is considered likely. The overall likelihood of A. philoxeroides continuing to enter the EPPO region is medium.
