A Diode Laser Imaging detection technology in pesticide application

2010 2nd International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems, 2010
In order to solve the faults in usual detection of droplet distribution and motion in pesticide application and agricultural spraying field, a new method is given for the analysis of droplets characteristics and motion with PDIA (Particle/Droplet Image Analysis) and digital image processing technique.

Pesticide Application Technology: Research and Development and the Growth of the Industry

Transactions of the ASABE, 2008
The application of pesticides and other pest control products is a complex mechanical process with the desired result being a complex biological response. By nature, the materials applied are biologically active; therefore, their responsible use requires not only efficient mechanical systems but also design attributes to protect non-targets such as ...

Application of the precolumn back‐flush technology in pesticide residue analysis: A practical view

Journal of Separation Science, 2013
Precolumn back‐flushing is a matrix minimization technique in GC in which the carrier gas flow of the precolumn is reversed after the transfer of the highest boiling analyte to the analytical column. Practical details concerning this technology have rarely been published although it is widely used. This paper now focuses on the practical implementation
