More π, less Gap: Band Gap Tuning in Hybrid Antimony Halide Charge Transfer Semiconductors
Zeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.Extending the π‐conjugation of the organic cation from bipyridinium to phenanthrolinium in hybrid antimony chloride charge transfer semiconductors reduces the band gap from 2.6 to 2.1 eV. This demonstrates that modifying the organic cation's π‐system enables band gap tuning in hybrid charge transfer semiconductors.
