Plastid Genome Evolution Across the Roridulaceae–Sarraceniaceae Clade (Ericales) in Relation to Carnivorous Strategies

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 4, April 2026.
The Roridulaceae–Sarraceniaceae clade exhibits strikingly divergent carnivorous strategies, providing a framework to examine how trophic shifts influence plastid genome evolution. Comparative plastome analyses reveal recurrent ndh gene disruption across species, while Roridula gorgonias shows pronounced genomic restructuring, including elevated ...

Ignition of organic explosives by an electron beam

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
A numerical simulation of the ignition of organic explosives (PETN, HMX, RDX, TATB) with an electron beam was performed. A criterion for the ignition of energetic materials with a melting point below the temperature of ignition is obtained.

Pourability enhancement of petn explosive powders [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Energetic Materials, 1987
Manufacture of precision detonators requires the pelletizing of very fine, organic, crystalline explosive powders. Production of pellets in automatic machines within critical dimensional and weight tolerances requires that the powders pour uniformly into die cavities.

Sequencing of Complete Chloroplast Genomes and Comparative Analyses of Codon Usage Bias and Phylogeny in Globba Species

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT The genus Globba (Zingiberaceae) comprises over 100 species distributed worldwide, with a primary concentration in Southeast Asia. These plants are of significant interest due to their distinctive and delicate floral morphology as well as their potential medicinal value.

Yersinia enterocolitica O:3 Outer Membrane Vesicles as a Platform for Complement Activation

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 15, Issue 4, April 2026.
Basic characteristics and biological activity of outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) secreted by Yersinia enterocolitica O:3 (YeO3), depending on LPS chemotype and growth temperature. ABSTRACT Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is the major component of the outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) of Gram‐negative bacteria.

Образование в информационном обществе [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
PETN is characterized by its sensitivity to environmental conditions. However, anhydrous low-temperature decomposition is poorly understood. This research undertook the search for the decomposition products of naturally aged PETN.

Fundamental studies of the adhesion of explosives to textile and non-textile surfaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This paper describes the use of atomic force microscopy (AFM) to investigate the interactions between explosives crystals and different surfaces. Crystals of TNT, PETN and RDX were mounted onto tipless AFM cantilevers and repeatedly brought into contact ...

Thermal decomposition and shelf-life of PETN and PBX based on PETN using thermal methods

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Science and Technology, 2018
The kinetics of exothermic reactions are important in assessing the potential of materials and systems for thermal explosion. In this paper, the thermal behavior and decomposition kinetics of pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) and polymer-bonded explosives (PBXs) based on PETN were investigated using Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Vacuum ...
