Enhancement of photoacoustic spectroscopy with sorption enrichment for ppt-level benzene detection [PDF]
A real time trace gas detector for benzene is demonstrated. The measurement system takes an advantage of modest enrichment through short adsorption periods to reach a ppt-level detection limit with a sampling cycle of 90 s, which includes sample adsorption, desorption and a spectroscopic measurement.

Hydrogen Production from Wind and Hydro Power in Constrained Transmission Grids [PDF]
Hydrogen (H2) production from variable renewable energy (VRE) sources can be an important technology for reducing CO2 emissions. Integrating electrolytic H2 production into the electricity system can contribute to this objective on two fronts.

Prognosis-search complex for mesothermal gold deposits. P. 3. Petrochemical and geochemical criteria
The relevance of the work is defined by the necessity to develop after hundred year investigations hydrothermal gold deposits formation theory instead of the four competing ones - granitogene, basaltogene, metamorphogene, polygene retaining in ore ...

Hardy's inequality for Hermite expansions revisited [PDF]
In this article, we give a short proof of Hardy's inequality for Hermite expansions of functions in the classical Hardy spaces $H^p({\mathbb R^n})$, by using an atomic decomposition of the Hardy spaces associated with the Hermite operators. When the space dimension is $1$, we obtain a new estimate of Hardy's inequality for Hermite expansions in $H^p({

Biomass in a petrochemical world [PDF]
The world's increasingly voracious appetite for fossil fuels is driven by fast-growing populations and ever-rising aspirations for the lifestyles and standard of living exemplified in the developed world. Forecasts for higher electricity consumption, more comfortable living environments (via heating or cooling) and greater demand for transport fuels ...
