Shoreline slope influences movements of larval lampreys over dewatered substrate

open access: yesAquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 4, Issue 1, February 2024.
Controlled laboratory study of larval lamprey movement capabilities over dewatered substrates following dewatering. Lamprey habitats, in fine sediments near stream margins, are regularly dewatered. This study helps refine guidance on best management practices to limit impacts to lampreys during dewatering events.
