Petrophysical characteristics of diatreme-facies kimberlites from Kirkland Lake, Ontario
Electrical resistivity (rho-r), effective porosity (phi-E) and bulk density (delta-B) have been measured on nine diatreme-facies kimberlite samples and six limestone samples from the Kirkland Lake area. One purpose of this study is to provide data required for interpretation of surface and airborne geophysical survey data.

Deep Groundwater Total Dissolved Solids Mapping in the Dakota Group, Williston Basin, USA
Abstract Growing concern about the quantity of available freshwater around the world has led to interest in surveying groundwater total dissolved solids (TDS) below water well depths. Deep TDS has not been systematically mapped, and there is much to learn about the distribution and controls on deeper groundwater. In sedimentary basins across the United

Appraisal of intra-reservoir barriers in the Permo-Triassic successions of the Central Persian Gulf, Offshore Iran [PDF]
Owing to their tightness, intra reservoir barriers have the potential to prevent homogenization of reservoir fluids and so cause compartmentalization. Identification of these barriers is an important step during reservoir evaluation.

Petrophysical and geochemical characterization of the late-variscan Santa Eulália Plutonic Complex (Ossa-Morena Zone, Portugal) [PDF]
The Santa Eulália Plutonic Complex (SEPC) is a calc-alkaline granitic body located in the northern part of the Ossa Morena Zone, composed by a medium- to coarse-grained pink granite (G0 group) involving large elongated masses of mafic (gabbroic) to ...

ABSTRACT Facies characterization in carbonate reservoirs remains challenging due to their pronounced textural and structural heterogeneity. Variations in grain packing, cementation, and diagenetic overprints produce contrasting acoustic responses in borehole image logs, often limiting the reproducibility of facies interpretation.

Fourier Neural Pseudo‐Log Generator for Well Log Reconstruction and Beyond‐Record Generation
Abstract Geophysical well logging is crucial for subsurface exploration, but its application is often hindered by incomplete data and high operational costs. To address these challenges, we propose the Fourier neural pseudo‐log generator (FNPG), a novel generative model capable of both missing well log reconstruction and generation of new, beyond ...
