CO09 | Long term effectiveness and safety of direct oral anticoagulants in patients with factor V Leiden and/or prothrombin gene mutation and venous thromboembolism: a single centre, retrospective cohort study

open access: yesBleeding, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology
Background: Data on long term outcomes of anticoagulation with direct oral anticaogulants (DOACs) in patients affected by venous thromboembolism (VTE) and trombophilia are scarce.

Plastid Engineering for Photosynthesis‐Driven Synthesis of Hyaluronic Acid in Tobacco

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 4, Page 2541-2558, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a glycosaminoglycan composed of alternating units of N‐acetylglucosamine and glucuronic acid. High moisture retention, viscoelasticity and biocompatibility are unique features that make HA polymers attractive compounds for medical applications and aesthetic purposes.

精液/斑的PGM1亚型分型研究

open access: yesZhongshan Daxue xuebao. Yixue kexue ban, 1988

Effects of Cannabidiol on TAFAZZIN‐Deficient B‐Lymphoblastoid Cells

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 6, 31 March 2026.
Deficiency of the cardiolipin remodeling enzyme TAFAZZIN causes Barth syndrome (BTHS), resulting in cardiolipin loss, monolysocardiolipin (MLCL) accumulation, and electron transport chain (ETC) abnormalities in B‐lymphoblastoid cells. Effects of the non‐psychotropic phytocannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) were examined on B‐lymphoblastoid cells from ...

Impacts of A‐Site Composition on the Cation Dissolution‐Mediated Surface Restructuring of Layered Nickelate Oxide Electrocatalysts During Alkaline Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 6, 17 March 2026.
This work shows that A‐site composition dictates the restructuring of Ruddlesden–Popper nickelate oxides (A2‐xA’xNiO4; A = La, Eu, Gd; A’ = Sr; x = 0–1.5) under alkaline oxygen evolution reaction conditions and suggests that electrocatalytic stability is governed by an interplay between dissolution‐mediated site exposure and Ni oxidation state ...
