Gongye shui chuli, 1996 研究了在冷却水处理中，臭氧浓度、温度和pH值对臭氧杀菌作用的影响。结果表明，臭氧具有良好的杀菌作用，当水中剩余臭氧浓度为0.05mg/L时，就可满足冷却水的杀菌要求。在实验温度15～35℃和pH值7～9条件下，臭氧的杀菌作用仅与水中的剩余臭氧浓度有关，而与冷却水的温度和pH值无关。

Gongye shui chuli, 1983 我国炼油、化纤、化肥等工厂的循环冷却水化学处理广泛使用含聚磷酸盐和有机膦酸盐的配方.通常认为,这类七十年代开发的冷却水处理方案能在碱性pH值范围内操作,而不必控制循环水的pH值,因此被泛称为碱性处理方案.实际上,从七十年代以来的运转实践和实验室研究资料证实,为了获得良好的缓蚀阻垢和控制微生物效果,在运行中控制循环水的pH值仍然是必须的.尽管某些全有机系配方声称可以不控制pH值,但采用还不普遍,还缺少必要的公认的效果数据.
