Partition and characterization of cadmium on different particle-size aggregates in Chinese Phaeozem
Geoderma, 2013Organic-mineral complexations can be isolated from bulk soil by physical disaggregation followed by density fractionation for further examination of the patchy nature of aggregates distributed in soil. Phaeozem, which is a specific regional soil in China with high organic matter, was selected for fractionation into particle-size aggregates with clay ...

Soil carbon sequestration of Chinese Loess Plateau and Northeast Phaeozem Region
2011 International Conference on Electrical and Control Engineering, 2011Both Loess Plateau and Northeast Phaeozem Region of China are main ecologically fragile regions in China. The unique climate conditions and intensified human activities may alter the soil organic carbon (SOC) content in these regions, and hence affect the carbon cycle of terrestrial ecosystem and climate change.

[Comparison on desorptive behavior of cadmium in phaeozem and burozem].
Huan jing ke xue= Huanjing kexue, 2007Desorptive behavior of Cd2+ was comparatively studied by the batch method on the two typical soils in northeast China. The results indicated that the two soils exhibit statistically significant sorption-desorption hysteresis. Phaeozem has a longer hysteresis period than the Burozem.

[Comparison on desorptive behavior of copper in phaeozem and burozem].
Huan jing ke xue= Huanjing kexue, 2006Desorptive behavior of Cu2+ from phaeozem and burozem was studied and compared using the batch method. The results indicated that Cu2+ desorbed from phaeozem tested had a longer lag period than that from burozem. When adsorbed Cu2+ for phaeozem was lower than 729.00 mg x kg(-1) (Cu2+ concentration was lower than 40 mg x L(-1)), and on burozem was lower

Waste Management, 2009
The use of organic wastes in agriculture may increase the production of crops by incorporating organic matter and nutrients into the soil, and by improving its physical characteristics; however, this use may cause environmental problems such as the leaching of certain ions.

The relation between the content of organic phosphorus and latitude in Northeast China phaeozem
Biology and Fertility of Soils, 2005Top phaeozem samples were collected from Nenjiang County (in Heilongjiang province) to Changtu County (in Liaoning province) in Northeast China every 6 km by using global positioning system (GPS) and analyzed for their content of organic C, total N, total P, organic P, and the organic to inorganic P (Po/Pi) ratio.

[Combined ecological effects of acetochlor and copper sulphate on microorganisms in phaeozem].
Huan jing ke xue= Huanjing kexue, 2008In order to explore the combined ecological effects of acetochlor and copper sulphate on soil microorganisms, the traditional toxicological methods and BIOLOG were employed. The results indicate that the combined application of acetochlor and copper sulphate has acute inhibitory effects on the amount of culture-dependent viable bacteria, actinomycetes ...

Phosphorus dynamics in a long-term P fertilization trial on Luvic Phaeozem at Halle
Journal of Plant Nutrition and Soil Science, 2000The soil of the long-term experiment laid out 1949 in Halle has the potential to supply much P. The P taken up by plants where no P (P0) or 15 kg ha−1 yr−1 (P1) was applied was much greater than the P applied as fertilizer (P1). A decrease in yield was measured only after the first 25 years on P0 soils but the P1 treatment has, so far, shown no ...

[Adsorption behavior and speciation transformation of Ag+ in phaeozem and red soil].
Huan jing ke xue= Huanjing kexue, 2011The batch equilibration experiments were carried out to study the adsorption characteristics of Ag+ and the effect of pH on the adsorption process in two typical Chinese soils, which the phaeozem from Northeast China and the red soil from Hunan province.
