Principles for Rigorous Design and Application of Synthetic Microbial Communities
SynComs are artificially designed to enable inter‐species metabolic interactions, metabolic division of labor, and ecological interactions that can elicit phenotypes like colonization stability and environmental adaptation. This systematic review explores the processes used to construct SynComs, the assessment of the mechanisms of metabolic interaction

Activated sludge cultivation for sewage sludge HTL wastewater treatment was optimized using high temperature incubation, nutrient supplementation, high dilution factor, and overliming pretreatment. Up to 91.2% sCOD removal was achieved, with kinetics analysis confirming enhanced degradation rates under treatment optimization.

Solid state fermentation of wheat for the production of cellulase
Solid state fermentation of wheat straw for cellulase production by Phanerochaete chrysosporium has been studied. The most optimum moisture level for solid state fermentation was found to be 40% while the best enzyme yield was obtained at an initial pH ...

Screening of cellulose- and lignin-degrading fungi for improving nutritive quality of ruminant feed
This experiment aimed to screen some cellulose- and lignin-degrading fungal species for improving nutritive quality of ruminant feed. Fungal species used were Ganoderma lucidum, Pleurotus ostreatus, Phanerochaete chrysosporium, and Trametes visicolor ...

Biochemimechanical pulping of hornbeam chips with Phanerochaete chrysosporium
The effect of fungal pretreatment of Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) wood chips on the performance of treated pulps was studied. The chips were pretreated with P. chrysosporium BKM-1767 fungus at 1, 2, and 4 weeks using an inoculation temperature and relative humidity of 39 oC and 65%, respectively with two pulping times (80 and 90 min) and three sodium ...
