Genome‐wide analyses indicate that reduced ventral diencephalon and thalamus volumes, along with decreased functional connectivity within the triple network (DMN/CEN/SN), are uniquely associated with the risk of major depression (MD) onset, compared to other similar severe psychiatric disorders.

Tendinopathy: The Interplay between Mechanical Stress, Inflammation, and Vascularity
This review explores the complex and self‐reinforcing cycle of mechanical stress, inflammation, and altered vascularity in tendinopathy—a common, painful tendon disorder. It integrates current findings on cellular, molecular, and biomechanical mechanisms, highlighting how mechanical overload, inflammatory signals, and abnormal blood vessel behavior ...

Induced sensorimotor brain plasticity controls pain in phantom limb patients [PDF]
The cause of pain in a phantom limb after partial or complete deafferentation is an important problem. A popular but increasingly controversial theory is that it results from maladaptive reorganization of the sensorimotor cortex, suggesting that ...

A soft, minimally invasive multimodal sensor probe integrates intracompartmental pressure, tissue oxygen saturation, and blood flow sensors into a single platform. By enabling precise measurements and capturing correlations among pressure, oxygenation, and vascular dynamics, the system provides a comprehensive physiological assessment, thereby ...

ALKBH5 promoted G3BP1 expression via m⁶A methylation at sites 142/173. G3BP1 interacts with YBX1 and p53, reducing their nuclear translocation and decreasing p53‐mediated SLC7A11 repression. This inhibites cardiomyocyte ferroptosis and mitigates myocardial damage during diabetic ischemia‐reperfusion injury.
