Hf–Zr–O‐based morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) thin films often suffer from limited endurance and poor uniformity due to intrinsic phase instability. This work proposes a nanolaminate architecture that spatially separates competing phases, stabilizes phase formation, and suppresses wake‐up‐induced degradation.

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Almost global stability of phase-locked loops [PDF]
Many control systems have a global dynamical behavior that in addition to a desired stable equilibrium has one or more unstable equilibria or other exceptional trajectories.

Adaptively enhanced phase locked loops
A method that enhances the performance of a phase locked loop is proposed. The method is based on integrating an adaptive frequency estimator into a standard phase locked loop.

Small-Signal Modelling and Stability Assessment of Phase-Locked Loops in Weak Grids
This paper proposes a low-complexity small signal model for a 3-leg converter connected to a balanced three-phase, three-wire weak grid and synchronised to this grid using a PLL implemented in a synchronous rotating d-q axis.

Fast Frequency Acquisition Phase-Frequency Detectors for
This paper describes two techniques for designing phase-frequency detectors (PFDs) with higher operating frequencies [periods of less than 8 the delay of a fan-out-4 inverter (FO-4)] and faster frequency acquisition.

High Dynamic Optimized Carrier Loop Improvement for Tracking Doppler Rates
Mathematical analysis and optimization of a carrier tracking loop are presented. Due to fast changing of the carrier frequency in some satellite systems, such as Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or Global Positioning System (GPS), or some planes like Unmanned ...

Microfabrication using nano‐ to micron‐sized blocks has transformative potential for next‐gen electronics, optoelectronics, and materials. Traditional methods are limited by scalability and precision. STIC, a single‐laser system for precise colloid manipulation and immobilization using femtosecond lasers, is introduced that enables efficient 3D ...
