Spin-Orbit induced phase-shift in Bi2Se3 Josephson junctions [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications, 2018
The transmission of Cooper pairs between two weakly coupled superconductors produces a superfluid current and a phase difference; the celebrated Josephson effect.

Bidirectional Dual Active Clamping Push-pull Dc-dc Converter

open access: yesEletrônica de Potência, 2016
In this paper is presented a bidirectional dual active clamping push-pull dc-dc converter, to be used in applications which require isolated bidirectional interface between two dc ports with low-voltage/low-current ripple.

Instantaneous phase shifting deflectometry

open access: yesOptics Express, 2016
An instantaneous phase shifting deflectometry measurement method is presented and implemented by measuring a time varying deformable mirror with an iPhone ® 6. The instantaneous method is based on multiplexing phase shifted fringe patterns with color, and decomposing them in x and y using Fourier techniques.

Phase-shift calculation using continuum-discretized states [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We present a method for calculating scattering phase shifts which utilizes continuum-discretized states obtained in a bound-state type calculation.

Absolute Phase Retrieval Using One Coded Pattern and Geometric Constraints of Fringe Projection System

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
Fringe projection technologies have been widely used for three-dimensional (3D) shape measurement. One of the critical issues is absolute phase recovery, especially for measuring multiple isolated objects.

Phase Shifts in Stochastic Resonance [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 1992
The response of an overdamped bistable system to a periodic force is investigated using linear-response theory and by analog electronic experiment. It is shown, both theoretically and experimentally that a phase lag phi exists between the force and the response, and that |phi| passes through a maximum when the noise intensity is tuned through the range

The Coulomb phase shift revisited

open access: yes, 2010
We investigate the Coulomb phase shift, and derive and analyze new and more precise analytical formulae. We consider next to leading order terms to the Stirling approximation, and show that they are important at small values of the angular momentum $l ...

Comprehensive steady state analysis of bidirectional dual active bridge DC/DC converter using triple phase shift control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Several papers have been published recently on TPS control of dual active bridge (DAB) converter, however, no complete study of the converter operation behaviour exists, that takes into account all switching modes in both charging and discharging ...

First constraint on the neutrino-induced phase shift in the spectrum of baryon acoustic oscillations [PDF]

open access: yesNature Physics, 2018
The existence of the cosmic neutrino background is a robust prediction of the hot big bang model. These neutrinos were a dominant component of the energy density in the early Universe and therefore played an important role in the evolution of ...

Adaptive dynamic range shift (ADRIFT) quantitative phase imaging [PDF]

open access: yesLight: Science & Applications, 2020
Quantitative phase imaging (QPI) with its high-contrast images of optical phase delay (OPD) maps is often used for label-free single-cell analysis. Contrary to other imaging methods, sensitivity improvement has not been intensively explored because ...
