Phase-Shifting Projected Fringe Profilometry Using Binary-Encoded Patterns

open access: yesPhotonics, 2021
A phase unwrapping method for phase-shifting projected fringe profilometry is presented. It did not require additional projections to identify the fringe orders. The pattern used for the phase extraction could be used for phase unwrapping directly.

Saturation-Induced Phase Error Compensation Method Using Complementary Phase

open access: yesMicromachines, 2023
Intensity saturation can induce phase error and, thus, measurement error in fringe projection profilometry. To reduce saturation-induced phase errors, a compensation method is developed.

Phase Shifting Approaches and Multi-Channel Interferograms Position Registration for Simultaneous Phase-Shifting Interferometry: A Review

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
Simultaneous phase-shifting interferometry (SPSI) can simultaneously obtain multiple phase-shifted interferograms and can realize the dynamic wavefront measurement with the use of a phase-shifting algorithm. From the respect of a beam-splitting technique

Reconstruction of Isolated Moving Objects by Motion-Induced Phase Shift Based on PSP

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
The reconstruction of moving objects based on phase shifting profilometry has attracted intensive interests. Most of the methods introduce the phase shift by projecting multiple fringe patterns, which is undesirable in moving object reconstruction as the

Phase shift in skyrmion crystals [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications, 2021
AbstractThe magnetic skyrmion crystal is a periodic array of a swirling topological spin texture. Since it is regarded as an interference pattern by multiple helical spin density waves, the texture changes with the relative phase shifts among the constituent waves.

A Fast-Locking All-Digital PLL With Triple-Stage Phase-Shifting

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
This presents an all-digital phase-locked loop (ADPLL) system using triple-stage phase-shifting (TSPS) for fast locking. At the first stage, a phase-pulling multiplexer linearly pulls the phase of a feedback signal until the phase offset between the ...

Phase Shift Strategies in Phase Shifting Time Averaging Interferometry [PDF]

open access: yesExperimental Techniques, 2021
AbstractClassical time-averaging interferometry technique is widely used for MEMS/MOEMS dynamic behavior investigations. It provides useful information on resonant vibration frequencies and mode shapes in the form of Bessel fringe images. To evaluate the information on objects’ vibration amplitude distribution, one needs to further process Bessel ...

Phase-Shifting Shearing Interference Microscope with Savart Shear Prism and Rotatable Analyzer

open access: yesProceedings, 2018
A phase-shifting shearing interference microscope (PSSIM) is introduced in this paper. It is constructed by placing a Savart shear prism between the objective and sample of a polarizing microscope with a rotatable analyzer as the phase-shifter, and it is

Metrology for Measuring Bumps in a Protection Layer Based on Phase Shifting Fringe Projection

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
We developed a telecentric 3D measurement system based on the fringe projection technique to measure phases corresponding to the 3D shape of bumps on a surface.

Differential Mode Noise Estimation and Filter Design for Interleaved Boost Power Factor Correction Converters

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Interleaved power factor correction (PFC) is widely used circuit topology due to good efficiency and power density for single-switch boost PFC. As the differential mode (DM) electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise magnitude depends upon the input ...
