Camera Calibration with Phase-Shifting Wedge Grating Array
Planar targets with known features have been widely used for camera calibration in various vision systems. This paper utilizes phase-shifting wedge grating (PWG) arrays as an active calibration target.

Phase Shifts in Stochastic Resonance [PDF]
The response of an overdamped bistable system to a periodic force is investigated using linear-response theory and by analog electronic experiment. It is shown, both theoretically and experimentally that a phase lag phi exists between the force and the response, and that |phi| passes through a maximum when the noise intensity is tuned through the range

Momentum Dependence of Phase Shifts [PDF]
A lower limit is found for the momentum derivative of the scattering phase shifts of a relativistic neutral two-particle system when the interaction is of finite range.

Michelson interferometer for phase shifting interferometry with a liquid crystal retarder
We propose an interferometric system to measure phase objects using electronic phase shifting techniques. The experimental setup is based on a polarization Michelson type interferometer, where a liquid crystal retarder is placed at the entrance pupil as ...

Treatment Decision‐Making Roles and Preferences Among Adolescents and Young Adults With Cancer
ABSTRACT Background Decision‐making (DM) dynamics between adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer, parents, and oncologists remain underexplored in diverse populations. We examined cancer treatment DM preferences among an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse group of AYAs and their parents.

ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.

The Comparative Analysis of Phase Shifting Transformers
Phase shifting transformers (PSTs) are currently widely used in power systems to control power flow. In this manuscript, the results of the asymmetrical PST (APST) with the in-phase PST (called asymmetrical controllable PST-ACPST) were compared, allowing

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Multi-Phase Shifting Autotransformer Based Rectifier
In this paper, a thorough analysis is carried out in order to achieve an optimal design of a forty-four pulse rectifier. In this study, a novel Multi-phase Shifting Autotransformer (MPSA) is introduced, discussed, simulated and implemented to forty-four ...
