Analysis of the ambiguity function for phase-coded waveforms
2015 IEEE/ACS 12th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA), 2015The phase codes is one of important pulse compression waveform methods. This paper shows and compares the PSLR (Peak Sidelobe Ratio), ISLR (Integrated Sidelobe Ratio) and doppler tolerance for different phase codes. At first, a presentation of the ambiguity function is given, as well as some measures to evaluate it.

Phase ambiguities in higher dimensions
Il Nuovo Cimento B, 1983By use of a Fourier-coefficient shift and subsequentz-transform, we employ the familiar process of replacing image trigonometric polynomials by polynomials in one or more variables. Among these polynomials we consider a «standard» type and define a «conjugation» on them. This conjugation has some of the same important properties as does the conjugation

Phase Recovery and the Ambiguity Function
Adaptive Optics: Analysis and Methods/Computational Optical Sensing and Imaging/Information Photonics/Signal Recovery and Synthesis Topical Meetings on CD-ROM, 2005Various techniques for determining phase information are interpreted in terms of the ambiguity function. It is shown that this facilitates the comparison of different methods and promotes the development of novel phase retrieval schemes.

Ambiguity function and phase space tomography for nonparaxial fields
Frontiers in Optics 2010/Laser Science XXVI, 2010A nonparaxial generalization of the ambiguity function that retains several properties of its paraxial counterpart is presented, in both two and three dimensions. This generalization is used to extend into the nonparaxial regime a scheme for the recovery of the coherence properties of scalar partially coherent fields in two-dimensional space.

Resolution of phase ambiguity in macromolecular crystallography
1985Publisher Summary The chapter presents a procedure that is applicable to single isomorphous replacement (SIR) data without anomalous scattering information as well as to pure single-wavelength anomalous scattering (SAS) data alone, and it does not require the presence of noncrystallographic symmetry.

Integer ambiguity resolution in phase closure imaging
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2001Phase calibration is the key operation of phase closure imaging. In the case of nonredundant arrays, the related problem amounts to finding the node of a Z lattice closest to the end of a vector, the components of which are the differences between the closure phases of the data and those of the model.

Elementary derivation of the minami phase shift ambiguity
Nuclear Physics, 1961Abstract An elementary derivation is presented of the Minami phase shift ambiguity in the analysis of elastic scattering of a spin 1 2 particle by a spin 0 scattering centre.

AMBIGUITIES IN PHASE-SHIFT ANALYSIS
1976Publisher Summary This chapter examines ambiguities in phase-shift analysis. Two steps can be distinguished in the process of obtaining information on the basic dynamics in a scattering process from the experimentally measured quantities. The first step is the determination, starting from angular distributions, of all on-shell information, and the ...

The Global Positioning System (GPS) can be used to estimate the attitude of a vehicle. To do this, multiple receivers should be used with the antennas in known fixed positions in the vehicle body frame. Since the estimation of the attitude angles needs high precision, the carrier phase measurements (with millimeter precision) are used in combination ...
