Zero-Phase-Angle Controlled Bidirectional Wireless EV Charging Systems for Large Coil Misalignments
IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2020Misalignment between charging coils is an unavoidable problem in all electric vehicle (EV) charging systems that are based on wireless power transfer (WPT) technology.

Geometric quantum phase and angles
Physical Review D, 1988The geometric phase in quantum mechanics is formulated for charged particles in a gauge-invariant, geometric manner. It is then extended to an evolution resulting from a sequence of measurements as in the work of Pancharatnam and Aharonov and Vardi. Its close connection to the Feynman formulation of quantum mechanics is pointed out.

The Berry phase and the Hannay angle
Physical Review D, 1988The analysis provided by Berry of the extra phase acquired by a system undergoing adiabatic excursion in a closed path in parameter space is extended in this paper to the case of nonstationary states. It is shown that, for certain integrable dynamical systems, wave packets exist which under continuation in parameter space behave in a manner that can be

Phase Angle is Determined by Body Composition and Cardiorespiratory Fitness in Adolescents
International Journal of Sports Medicine, 2020The phase angle is used to evaluate nutritional status and is an indicator of cellular health. Cardiorespiratory fitness and body composition are strong indicators of health during adolescence.

The Diagnostic Value of Phase-Angle Tympanograms
International Journal of Audiology, 1981The diagnostic value of susceptance, conductance, resistance, reactance, admittance and phase-angle tympanograms is compared. Phase-angle tympanograms seem to be best suited for the discrimination between normal W patterns and broad irregular curves obtained from ossicular disruptions, luxations and necroses.

Fast Phase Angle Jump Estimation to Improve the Convergence Time of the GDSC-PLL
IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2020The fast detection of magnitude, frequency, and phase angle of the fundamental-frequency component is very useful in many three-phase power system applications.

The Weyl Quantization of Phase Angle
Journal of Modern Optics, 1992We suggest a candidate for a non-canonical Hermitian operator corresponding to phase angle, based on the Weyl correspondence rule. The matrix elements of this operator, for harmonic oscillator number states, coincide, in the correspondence limit, with those of a phase operator proposed by Barnett and Pegg, when the dimension of their defining space ...

Phase Transitions in Angle Variables
Physical Review Letters, 2003Phase transitions in angle variables are studied. An example of angular phase transition, an axially to triaxially deformed "shape" transition in nuclei, is discussed. Spectroscopic signatures for the occurrence of these transitions are suggested. Preliminary experimental evidence is presented.

Association of bioimpedance phase angle and prospective falls in older adults
Geriatrics & Gerontology International, 2019Bioelectrical impedance analysis‐derived phase angle has been shown to reflect multiple health conditions, including sarcopenia and malnutrition. We aimed to investigate the prospective association between phase angle and incident falls in older adults.
