Tetracritical behavior in strongly interacting theories

open access: yes, 2004
We suggest a tetracritical fixed point to naturally occur in strongly interacting theories. As a fundamental example we analyze the temperature--quark chemical potential phase diagram of QCD with fermions in the adjoint representation of the gauge group (

Physics across the phase diagram of QCD

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2013
In this talk I present some lattice computations which constrain finite size effects in fireballs resulting from heavy-ion collisions. The results show that early stages of evolution are not constrained by spatial size, whereas freezeout is. The second conclusion is compatible with results of the analysis of fluctuations of conserved quantities, which ...

Auxiliary field Monte Carlo simulation of strong-coupling lattice QCD for QCD phase diagram [PDF]

open access: yesProgress of Theoretical and Experimental Physics, 2014
We study the QCD phase diagram in the strong coupling limit with fluctuation effects by using the auxiliary field Monte-Carlo method. We apply the chiral angle fixing technique in order to obtain finite chiral condensate in the chiral limit in finite volume.

A Natural Major Module Confers the Trade‐Off between Phenotypic Mean and Plasticity of Grain Chalkiness in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 42, November 13, 2025.
This study reveals the genetic and molecular mechanisms controlling the general trade‐off between phenotypic mean and plasticity of grain chalkiness in rice and identifies two major external drivers (high temperature and wide grain) and a natural major module (GCP6‐MPC5) that control this trade‐off.

Novel Lifshitz point for chiral transition in the magnetic field

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
Based on the generalized Ginzburg–Landau theory, chiral phase transition is discussed in the presence of magnetic field. Considering the chiral density wave we show that chiral anomaly gives rise to an inhomogeneous chiral phase for nonzero quark-number ...

Another mean field treatment in the strong coupling limit of lattice QCD [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We discuss the QCD phase diagram in the strong coupling limit of lattice QCD by using a new type of mean field coming from the next-to-leading order of the large dimensional expansion.

Competition of chiral soliton lattice and Abrikosov vortex lattice in QCD with isospin chemical potential

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We investigate the thermodynamics of two-flavor quark matter in presence of nonzero isospin chemical potential and external magnetic field. It is known that at sufficiently high isospin chemical potential, charged pions undergo Bose–Einstein condensation

Photosynthetic Biomimetic System: Nickel Phthalocyanine and Biomass‐Derived Carbon Quantum Dots for Enhanced Water Oxidation

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 17, Issue 20, October 20, 2025.
A biomimetic system integrating Ni(II) phthalocyanine‐tetrasulfonic acid with sugarcane‐derived carbon quantum dots significantly enhances photoelectrochemical water oxidation. The CQDs improve light harvesting and facilitate electron transfer, resulting in higher photocurrent density, improved stability, and reduced overpotential.

Investigation of Phase Diagram and Bulk Thermodynamic Properties using PNJL Model with Eight-Quark Interactions

open access: yes, 2010
We present the bulk thermodynamic properties and phase diagram of strongly interacting matter in an extension of the 3-flavor NJL and PNJL models of QCD. Using a three momentum cut-off scheme, we have extended the multiquark interaction terms up to eight
