Correction for displacement artifacts in 3D phase contrast imaging

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 2002
PurposeTo correct for displacement artifacts in 3D phase contrast imaging.Materials and MethodsA 3D phase contrast pulse sequence was modified so that displacements of velocity measurements were restricted to one direction.

Displacive Phase Transformations

Solid State Phenomena, 2009
Shear deformation and shuffling of atomic planes are elementary mechanisms of collective atomic motion that take place during displacive phase transformations. General displacements of atomic planes are examined, i.e. -surface type calculations extensively used for the stacking faults and crystal dislocations are applied to single plane shuffling and ...

Inhomogeneous phase shifting: an algorithm for nonconstant phase displacements

Applied Optics, 2010
In this work, we have developed a different algorithm than the classical one on phase-shifting interferometry. These algorithms typically use constant or homogeneous phase displacements and they can be quite accurate and insensitive to detuning, taking appropriate weight factors in the formula to recover the wrapped phase.

Gas-phase nucleophilic displacement reactions

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1977
AbstractDisplacement reactions of each of a variety of anionic nucleophiles reacting with each of a variety of neutrals have been studied by pulsed ion cyclotron resonance (ICR) spectroscopy. Rate constants for these reactions are interpreted in terms of a three‐step reaction sequence.

Displacive Phase Transitions in Malononitrile

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1968
The crystallographic phases and phase transitions of molecular crystals of malononitrile were investigated using 14N pure nuclear quadrupole resonance. The resonance frequencies, linewidths, and spin–lattice relaxation times were measured using pulse techniques.

A photoelectric phase displacement transducer

Measurement Techniques, 1991
The principle of operation of a PPDT constructed on the basis of an MP consists in the fact that the light flux from the radiation source passes through an optical system which forms, on the working surface of the MP, a narrow streak which intersects all of the discrete photosensitive tracks (DPT) of the MP such that the active resistance between the ...

Two-phase displacement of non-newtonian fluid

Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, 1983
This paper considers the problem of non-Newtonian oil displacement by water in porous media, adopting the linear permeation law with initial pressure gradient. For one-dimensional flow, the basic equation of non-Newtonian oil displacement by water in sandstone reservoirs and fractured reservirs is derived and numerical solutions are obtained.

Development of a phase-displacement equation for panoramic interferometry

Applied Optics, 2000
We developed the parametric equations that are needed to quantify the modulations in the sensitivity vector that occur when the phase-displacement equation is applied to make panoramic interferometric measurements. The measurement system relies on two collinear panoramic annular lenses, one to illuminate and the other to image their surroundings.
