Neuroinflammation in GAD65 Antibody‐Associated Epilepsy Measured Using [18F]DPA‐714 PET/MRI

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The timing for initiating immunotherapy in patients with glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (GAD65) antibody‐associated epilepsy is a challenge. We used the translocator protein radioligand [18F]DPA‐714 and PET to evaluate brain microglial activation.

Fabrication of Modified Random Phase Masks with Phase Modulation Elements Exhibiting Gaussian Profiles Using Molecular Migration under Photopolymerization

open access: yesPhotonics, 2019
Random phase masks are important technical elements for realizing holographic memory systems that enable high density recording. However, the broadly distributed Fourier spectrum often presents a problem because wide recording spots result in reduced ...

Global and Regional Temporal Changes in Cross‐Country Inequalities of Site‐Specific Osteoarthritis Burden, 1990 to 2021

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective This study examined the global and regional temporal changes in cross‐country inequalities of site‐specific osteoarthritis (OA) burden from 1990 to 2021. Methods Age‐standardized years lived with disability rates (ASYRs) for site‐specific OA across 204 countries and territories were obtained from the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and ...

High aspect ratio etched sub-micron structures in silicon obtained by cryogenic plasma deep-etching through perforated polymer thin films

open access: yesMicro and Nano Engineering, 2018
Cryogenic plasma deep-etching for silicon sub-micron structures was studied with the use of modified poly(styrene) (PS) perforated masks obtained from laterally phase separated PS and poly (lactic acid) PLA blend thin films.

Wide-band six-region phase mask coronagraph

open access: yesOptics Express, 2014
An achromatic six-region phase mask coronagraph, used for the detection of exoplanets, is proposed. The mask has six regions in angular direction and could work in wideband. Furthermore, a six-level phase mask, as an example of the six-region phase mask, is theoretically investigated.

Testing A Personalized Approach to Chronic Low Back Pain: A Randomized Controlled Trial in Older Veterans

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective We aimed to test the efficacy of personalized treatment of older Veterans with chronic low back pain (CLBP) delivered by Aging Back Clinics (ABC) as compared with usual care (UC). Methods Two hundred ninety‐nine Veterans age 65‐89 with CLBP from 3 VA medical centers underwent baseline testing, randomization to ABC or UC and 12 months follow ...
