Chain phase trajectory of a protein molecule

International Journal of Peptide and Protein Research, 1982
This paper presents the profile map of a protein conformation as a three‐dimensional e‐ø plot, where the third dimension is the residue number. The trajectories of some proteins of known crystalline structure, a few super‐secondary structures in proteins and valinomycin in conformational space are presented and examined.

The turbo decoding algorithm and its phase trajectories

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2001
Summary: This paper analyzes phase trajectories and fixed points of the turbo decoding algorithm as a function of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). By exploiting the large length of turbo codes, the turbo decoding algorithm is treated as a single-parameter dynamical system, parameterized (approximately) by the SNR.

A New Phase in the Trajectory of Social Europe?

GIORNALE DI DIRITTO DEL LAVORO E DI RELAZIONI INDUSTRIALI, 2019
Silvana Sciarra was a professor at the European University Institute (EUI) be-tween 1994 and 2003, in the middle of her rich scholarly career. In her publications during that period, she embraced a wide variety of subjects, including: the domes-tic enforcement of European labour law; the tension between market freedoms and social regulation in the EU ...

Joint phase and timing recovery for SOQPSK based on phase trajectory

2015 International Conference on Wireless Communications & Signal Processing (WCSP), 2015
Shaped-offset quadrature phase shift keying (SO-QPSK) is a special case of continuous phase modulation (CPM) and is widely employed on SATCOM links. We analyze the phase trajectory of SOQPSK and find that the phase change in a bit period is zero for a zero symbol and ±π/2 for a non-zero symbol.
