Reentrant phase transition of Born–Infeld-dilaton black holes
We explore a novel reentrant phase transition of four-dimensional Born–Infeld-dilaton black hole in which the first order phase transition modify into a zeroth order phase transition below the critical point.

The earliest phase transition? [PDF]
The question of a phase transition in exiting the Planck epoch of the early universe is addressed. An order parameter is proposed to help decide the issue, and estimates are made concerning its behavior. Our analysis is suggestive that a phase transition occurred.

Magnonic superradiant phase transition
Superradiant phase transitions, predicted to occur in the ultra-strong light-matter coupling regime, may offer a route to robust quantum coherence but have not yet been observed at thermal equilibrium.

Binary perovskite solid solutions and trends in their phase transitions temperatures variation
Some of the known binary ABO3 perovskites with ferro- (FE) or antiferroelectric (AFE) at [Formula: see text] and different magnetic phase transitions (PT): ferro-and antiferromagnetic at [Formula: see text] and also some of their solid solutions are ...

Abstract Viruses have established relationships with almost every other living organism on Earth and at all levels of biological organization: from other viruses up to entire ecosystems. In most cases, they peacefully coexist with their hosts, but in most relevant cases, they parasitize them and induce diseases and pandemics, such as the

Dynamical Purification Phase Transition Induced by Quantum Measurements [PDF]
Continuously monitoring the environment of a quantum many-body system reduces the entropy of (purifies) the reduced density matrix of the system, conditional on the outcomes of the measurements.

Magnetic Field-Induced Phase Transition
The magnetic field controls the spin and orbital motion of electrons and can induce a phase transition through a change of the ground state [...]

Vapour-liquid phase transition and metastability [PDF]
The paper deals with the modelling of the relaxation processes towards thermodynamic equilibrium in a liquid-vapour isothermal mixture. Focusing on the van der Waals equation of state, we construct a constrained optimization problem using Gibbs ...

Observation of a many-body dynamical phase transition with a 53-qubit quantum simulator [PDF]
A quantum simulator is a type of quantum computer that controls the interactions between quantum bits (or qubits) in a way that can be mapped to certain quantum many-body problems.
