Phase transitions in copper tellurides
This paper presents the results of model calculations of the structure of the Cu-Te system at low temperatures, as well as the results of a study of the structure and phase transitions of synthesized non-stoichiometric compounds of copper tellurides. For

RNA Binding Antagonizes Neurotoxic Phase Transitions of TDP-43.
TDP-43 proteinopathy is a pathological hallmark of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and frontotemporal dementia where cytoplasmic TDP-43 inclusions are observed within degenerating regions of patient postmortem tissue.

Geometry of quantum phase transitions [PDF]
In this article we provide a review of geometrical methods employed in the analysis of quantum phase transitions and non-equilibrium dissipative phase transitions.

Sculpting tissues by phase transitions
Many biological processes require changes in the physical properties of cells and their surroundings. Here, Lenne and Trivedi discuss recent findings in biological systems in terms of phase transitions in inert physical systems from both theoretical and ...

Quantum phase transitions [PDF]
We give a general introduction to quantum phase transitions in strongly-correlated electron systems. These transitions which occur at zero temperature when a non-thermal parameter $g$ like pressure, chemical composition or magnetic field is tuned to a critical value are characterized by a dynamic exponent $z$ related to the energy and length scales $ $

Review of cosmic phase transitions: their significance and experimental signatures [PDF]
The study of cosmic phase transitions are of central interest in modern cosmology. In the standard model of cosmology the Universe begins in a very hot state, right after at the end of inflation via the process of reheating/preheating, and cools to its ...

Ferromagnetic phase transitions in SU(N)
We study the thermodynamics of a non-abelian ferromagnet consisting of “atoms” each carrying a fundamental representation of SU(N), coupled with long-range two-body quadratic interactions.

Anomalous correlation-induced dynamical phase transitions
The nonanalyticity of the Loschmidt echo at critical times in quantum quenched systems is termed as the dynamical quantum phase transition, extending the notion of quantum criticality to a nonequilibrium scenario.

Instanton expansions and phase transitions
A central object in any axionic theory is its periodic potential, which is typically generated by instantons. The goal of this paper is to understand what physically happens to the theory when we lose control of the potential’s instanton expansion.

We show that melting the quark mass, the scalar $ $ mass and the quark condensate leads uniquely to the quark-level SU(2) linear $ $ model field theory. Upon thermalization, the chiral phase transition curve requires $T_c =2f^{CL}_ \approx 180 MeV$ when $ = 0$, while the critical chemical potential is $ _c =m_q\approx 325 MeV$.
