An Integrated QSM-Radiomics Nomogram With Clinical and Imaging Markers for Stratifying Cognitive Impairment in Hypertension. [PDF]

open access: yesCNS Neurosci Ther
This study developed an integrated nomogram combining QSM‐based radiomics, brain iron deposition, white matter hyperintensity, and clinical markers. This model demonstrated superior performance in stratifying hypertensive cognitive impairment compared to traditional single‐parameter models.

Deep gray matters iron deposition is positively associated with white matter hyperintensity in hypertension. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Clin Hypertens (Greenwich), 2023
Abstract The association and underlying mechanisms between iron deposition and white matter hyperintensity (WMH) remain unclear. In this study, quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) was used to quantify deep gray matters iron deposition and to explore the association from both global and regional perspectives.

Sub-voxel quantitative susceptibility mapping for assessing whole-brain magnetic susceptibility from ages 4 to 80. [PDF]

open access: yesHum Brain Mapp, 2023
Age‐specific and longitudinal atlases of sub‐voxel susceptibility were constructed on 494 healthy adults. The developmental trajectories of sub‐voxel susceptibility uncovered the spatial and temporal patterns of iron deposition and myelination/demyelination concurrently during brain aging, especially the evolution of myelin in deep gray matter and iron

Quantitative Assessment of Deep Gray Matter Susceptibility and Correlation With Cognition in Patients With Liver Cirrhosis. [PDF]

open access: yesBrain Behav
The impact of brain metal deposition on cognitive decline in patients with liver cirrhosis remains unclear. Quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) was employed to assess deep gray matter, and its association with cognition was examined. Our findings demonstrate a significant correlation between the susceptibility of the red nucleus, substantia nigra,

Brain iron load and neuroaxonal vulnerability in adult attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. [PDF]

open access: yesPsychiatry Clin Neurosci
Aim Adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may be associated with an increased risk of dementia in old age. Here, we investigated the liability for neurodegenerative brain disease in adult ADHD, possibly reflected by increased brain iron content and associated neuroaxonal vulnerability. Methods Thirty‐two adults with ADHD (35 ± 10 years)

FCSN 3-D PU: Fully Connected Spatiotemporal Network Based 3-D Phase Unwrapping

open access: yesIEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, 2023
Phase unwrapping (PU) based on spatial networks is a key procedure in time series synthetic aperture radar interferometry (TS-InSAR). Although the state-of-the-art techniques have shown good success in common cases, their performance remained uncertain in some challenging cases where the reliability of spatial networks is difficult, e.g., reservoir ...

Quantitative susceptibility mapping in the brain reflects spatial expression of genes involved in iron homeostasis and myelination. [PDF]

open access: yesHum Brain Mapp
We compared values from quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) images and spatial gene expression, measured by the Allen Human Brain Atlas. Our findings demonstrate a positive correlation between the expression of ferritin, ferroportin, transferrin, several gene markers of myelinating oligodendrocytes, and QSM in deep grey nuclei regions.

An Improved Method of the Finite-Difference Sparse Phase Unwrapping

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, 2021
Phase unwrapping (PU) is a significant problem for reconstructing the deformation field during synthetic aperture radar interferometry analysis. The various 2-D PU algorithms can be divided into two categories: path-following methods and optimization ...

A Novel Quality-Guided Two-Dimensional InSAR Phase Unwrapping Method via GAUNet

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, 2021
Phase unwrapping (PU) has always been a critical and challenging step in interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) data processing. Inspired by existing research, i.e., the PGNet, we propose a novel quality-guided 2-D InSAR PU method via deep ...

Recent progress in the fabrication and processing of triboelectric yarns

open access: yesCarbon Neutralization, Volume 2, Issue 1, Page 63-89, January 2023., 2023
Yarn‐based triboelectric nanogenerator (triboelectric yarns) possesses the common benefits of both traditional yarns and TENGs, and can be directly employed to conduct energy conversion or processed into other forms of energy harvesting textile structures by weaving/knitting technology.
