Electron microscope study of neurosecretory cells in Phasmidae
General and Comparative Endocrinology, 1961Abstract The neurosecretory cells, extensively studied in Vertebrates, have been examined with electron microscopy in Phasmidae. In the different types of nerve cells examined, a characteristic association of multilayered Golgi membranes with ergastoplasmic elements and mitochondria has been observed.

Zootaxa, 2016Type specimens of 437 Phasmida taxa have been located in the Natural History Museum, London (NHMUK, formerly BMNH), including 480 primary types of 372 taxa. Taxa with types are listed alphabetically by their specific or subspecific name, and the number of specimens, sex and locality data are given.

The capitulum of phasmid eggs (Insecta: Phasmida)
