Phenomenological model of anisotropic peak broadening in powder diffraction
Anisotropic line-shape broadening (peak width which is not a smooth function of d-spacing) is frequently observed in powder diffraction patterns, and can be a source of considerable difficulty for whole-pattern fitting or Rietveld analysis.

This review aimed to synthesize factors associated with medication nonadherence among people with type 2 diabetes (PwT2D), using the Capability, Opportunity, Motivation and Behaviour (COM‐B) model as the a priori model. Studies published between January 2014 and April 2024 were searched on five databases.

Optical eigenmodes in plane arrays of cylindrical waveguides. Analysis by means of multiple Mie scattering formalism and phenomenological model [PDF]
We consider a plane periodical array of parallel cylindrical waveguides with evanescent coupling between them. A new method for calculating the isofrequency curves based on the multiple Mie scattering formalism (MMSF) is developed. This method is compared with the phenomenological model. The derivation of the phenomenological model by means of the MMSF

Practice‐based educational and theatre research: A scoping review
Abstract Practice‐based research (PBR) has emerged as a valuable alternative to traditional scientific methods by generating knowledge through practice and enhancing the relevance of research to practitioners. However, knowledge about PBR has largely been developed within disciplinary silos, leading to its limited cross‐disciplinary understanding. This

Exploring Non-Universal Gauge Mediation [PDF]
I explore the phenomenology and models of Gauge Mediation with a mixed spectrum of Dirac and Majorana gauginos. Scalar sfermion masses are generated using a mixture of Supersoft and Minimal Gauge Mediated communication mechanisms. I build simple models where Dirac and Majorana gauginos arise from distinct SUSY breaking sectors.

Abstract We review the vector model, a low-energy effective theory of QCD based upon a novel realization of chiral symmetry incorporating vector mesons. After discussing some of the problems with the lowest-order phenomenological results of this model, we compute the leading log corrections to the theory's tree level predictions.
