Antimycobacterial activity of piperidinylpropyl esters of alkoxy-substituted phenylcarbamic acids
Folia Microbiologica, 2003A series of 17 hydrochlorides of piperidinylpropyl esters of alkoxy-substituted phenylcarbamic acids with the alkoxy group in position 2, 3 or 4 on the phenyl ring, and basic substituents attached to the moiety in position 3, were evaluated for in vitro antimycobacterial activity against the strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, M.

Further studies on the metabolism of isopropyl N-phenylcarbamate (propham) in the rat
Food and Cosmetics Toxicology, 1971Abstract The metabolic fate of [ 14 C]-isopropyl N -phenylcarbamate ([ 14 C]IPC) was investigated in the rat. After both oral and intraperitoneal doses approximately 80% of the administered radioactivity appeared in the urine over 4 days, with much smaller amounts appearing in the faeces and respired air.

The Use of Isopropyl-N-phenylcarbamate as a Potential Contraceptive
1981The most successful contraceptive practices, exclusive of the physical methods, affect the complex hypothalamic—hypophyseal—gonadal feedback systems. The intervention could theoretically occur at any point of this feedback loop. Steroid supplementation reduces the level of gonadotrophin-secretory activity and via it gonadal steroid production.
