Two new species of Mulcticola (Philopteridae: Mallophaga).
The Canadian Entomologist, 1957The Ischnoceran genus Mulcticola Clay and Meinertzhagen, 1938, contains five forms found on the avian family Caprimulgidae. A redescription of Aegypoecus brevicollis (Burmeister, 1838) (Ischnocera: Philopteridae)
Systematic Parasitology, 1992After studying some material belonging to genus Aegypoecus Clay & Meinertzhagen, 1939 captured on the head and neck of a European black vulture Aegypius monachus, the authors have identified these specimens as Aegypoecus brevicollis (Burmeister, 1838).

New species of the genus Chelopistes (Ischnocera: Philopteridae) from Pakistan
Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology, 2012A new species of Chelopistes Keler from common turkey fowl Meleagris gallopavo L. from Karachi, Pakistan is described in detail with reference to morphology and genitalia. The new species is also compared with its closest known ally, Chelopistes meleagridis, a common cosmopolitan parasite previously described from common turkey fowl.
