Abstract Family and domestic violence (FDV) is a major social, economic and health issue that is associated with a range of physical, mental and behavioural health outcomes. Religion and faith are powerful and influential in shaping the lives of many individuals and societies, in addition to the social practices, norms and structures that are ...

Multilayer ferrite inductor prototypes are fabricated by cofiring metallized tapes of NiCuZn ferrite and glass‐ceramic composite. Prerequisites for a predictive component simulation are discussed. An automated data‐pipeline stores and semantically links the experimental data acquired in the study according to a domain ontology.

Abstract Introduction The inclusion of people who use drugs in the design and evaluation of their health services remains a relatively new phenomenon. The aim of the research was to explore the experiences and perceptions of people accessing the Medical Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC), and Clinic 180, Sydney Australia, and the factors facilitating ...

Multi-task Self-supervised Graph Neural Networks Enable Stronger Task Generalization [PDF]
Self-supervised learning (SSL) for graph neural networks (GNNs) has attracted increasing attention from the graph machine learning community in recent years, owing to its capability to learn performant node embeddings without costly label information.

Bipartite Mixed States of Infinite-Dimensional Systems are Generically Nonseparable [PDF]
Given a bipartite quantum system represented by a tensor product of two Hilbert spaces, we give an elementary argument showing that if either component space is infinite-dimensional, then the set of nonseparable density operators is trace-norm dense in the set of all density operators (and the separable density operators nowhere dense).

A methodology for establishing an ontology‐augmented structural digital twin for fiber‐reinforced polymer structures dedicated to individual lifetime prediction, in this case, a wind turbine rotor blade, is introduced. The methodology resembles the manufacturing as well as the operation of the structure.

Stability of ecologically scaffolded traits during evolutionary transitions in individuality
Evolutionary transitions in individuality are events in the history of life leading to the emergence of new levels of individuality. Recent studies have described an ecological scaffolding scenario of such transitions focused on the evolutionary ...

Conceptual Preconditions of Overcoming of Relativistic Intentions in Modern Philosophy of Science [PDF]
The paper defends the thesis that it's possible to maintain some conceptual preconditions of overcoming of relativistic intentions in modern philosophy of science ("there are no any general foundations in philosophy of science"). We found two general foundations in philosophy of science as a minimum.

This article examines the effect of postprocessing heat treatment on 316L stainless steel (SS316L) produced via laser powder bed fusion (LPBF). Heat treatment slightly affects property anisotropy, reduces strength, and enhances elongation. However, it increases corrosion susceptibility due to nanoscale precipitations, though overall corrosion ...
