Based on eight months of fieldwork, it examines how resilience is enacted not as a technical adaptation but as an ethical and spiritual practice of living with vulnerability.

Public Health Challenges, Volume 5, Issue 2, June 2026.Women bear the brunt of human rights violations faced by persons with albinism. Our ethnographic study showed that critical resilience comes about through social relationships, collective practices, and identities present in communities (local and national). We identified six promising practices in Tanzania and South Africa to strengthen gender equity.
