The nomenclature of the lycophyte species Phlegmariurus mingcheensis Ching (Huperziaceae)
In 1982, Ren Chang Ching twice described the same lycophyte species under the names Lycopodium mingcheense (published in April; the original "minchegense" spelling being a correctable error) and Phlegmariurus mingcheensis Ching (published in May ...

Abietane diterpenoids from Phlegmariurus carinatus and their biological activities
Phytochemistry, 2022Five undescribed abietane diterpenoids, along with eight known analogs, were isolated from Phlegmariurus carinatus. Their structures were unambiguously elucidated by extensive analysis of spectroscopic data and comparison between the literature. The absolute configuration of phlecarinatone C was determined by evaluating ECD spectra.

A new Lycopodium alkaloid from Phlegmariurus fargesii
Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines, 2014To investigate the chemical constituents from the whole plants of Phlegmariurus fargesii.Compounds were isolated by repeated silica gel column chromatography. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods and chemical correlation. The acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activity of the isolated compounds was evaluated.A new Lycopodium ...

Nomenclatural notes on Phlegmariurus dentatus (Lycopodiaceae)
Phytotaxa, 2016The Lycopodiaceae comprise 16 monophyletic genera grouped into three subfamilies (Arana & Øllgaard 2012, Øllgaard 2012, 2014). One of the recently resurrected genera is Phlegmariurus Holub (1964: 21) with ca. 400 species formerly treated under Huperzia Bernhardi (1801: 126) in the Neotropics and Palaeotropics, leaving Huperzia s.s.

Synopsis of the genus Phlegmariurus (Lycopodiaceae) in Colombia
Phytotaxa, 2019This article presents the results of a study of a large material of Colombian Lycopodiaceae, describing 75 species of the genus Phlegmariurus, some of them subdivided into several varieties. Their nomenclature, distribution and habitats are indicated, and problems of species delimitation and infraspecific variation are discussed.
