Abstract The Rudall Province (RP) is a Paleo‐Mesoproterozoic belt that records numerous overprinting tectono‐metamorphic events. Situated on the eastern edge of the West Australian Craton (WAC), the RP represents a key area for understanding the Proterozoic assembly and subsequent tectonic history of Western Australia.

The crystal structure of phlogopite by neutron diffraction
SummaryThe positions of all the atoms including hydrogen have been found by a partial three-dimensional single-crystal neutron-diffraction study in which about one-third of the reflections in the reciprocal sphere to 1·5 Å were measured. The hydroxyl group is perpendicular to the plane of the silicate sheets.

Petrology and Geochemistry of Mafic-Ultramafic Fragments from the Aguablanca Ni-Cu Ore Breccia, Southwest Spain [PDF]
Aguablanca (southwest Spain) is the first economic Ni-Cu-(PGE) deposit found in southern Europe. Two features make it an unusual example of magmatic sulfide ore: it is related to the development of an Andeantype continental magmatic arc, and it is hosted

Metasomatism in the Ultrahigh-pressure Svartberget Garnet-peridotite (Western Gneiss Region, Norway): Implications for the Transport of Crust-derived Fluids within the Mantle [PDF]
Garnet-peridotites often contain veins or layers of pyroxenite and eclogite of uncertain origin. We investigate the Svartberget garnet-peridotite from the northernmost ultrahigh-pressure domain in the Western Gneiss Region (WGR) in Norway and show that ...

Role of fluorine in the transfer of Be and the formation of beryl deposits: a thermodynamic model. [PDF]
After a thorough study on the tracing of the emerald origin by oxygen data by Zwaan et al. [12], the paper by Moine et al. [4] entitled ‘The role of fluorine in the formation of the Mananjary emerald deposits (eastern Madagascar)' demonstrates through a ...
