SU(2) x SU(2) x U(1) Interpretation on the 750 GeV Diphoton Excess [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
We propose that the SU(2) x SU(2) x U(1) (aka G221) models could provide us a 750 GeV scalar resonance that may account for the diphoton excess observed at the LHC while satisfying present collider constraints. The neutral component of the $SU(2)_R$ scalar multiplet can be identified as the 750 GeV scalar.

Hidden Thermodynamic Information in Protein Amino Acid Mutation Tables [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
We combine the standard 1992 20x20 substitution matrix based on block alignment, BLOSUM62, with the standard 1982 amino acid hydropathicity scale KD as well as the modern 2007 hydropathicity scale MZ, and compare the results. The 20-parameter KD and MZ hydropathicity scales have different thermodynamic character, corresponding to first and second order

Using machine learning to improve diagnostic assessment of ASD in the light of specific differential and co‐occurring diagnoses

open access: yesJournal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, Volume 64, Issue 1, Page 16-26, January 2023., 2023
Background Diagnostic assessment of ASD requires substantial clinical experience and is particularly difficult in the context of other disorders with behavioral symptoms in the domain of social interaction and communication. Observation measures such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) do not take into account such co‐occurring ...
