ABSTRACT Objective While research supports differentiating anorexia nervosa into binge–purge (AN‐BP) vs. restricting (AN‐R) subtypes, DSM‐5‐TR does not provide a specific threshold of binge and/or purge episodes that constitutes an AN‐BP vs. AN‐R diagnosis.

Mechanical Model for Fiber-laden Membranes [PDF]
An integrated mechanical model for fiber-laden membranes is presented and representative predictions of relevance to cellulose ordering and orientation in the plant cell wall are presented. The model describes nematic liquid crystalline self-assembly of rigid fibers on an arbitrarily curved fluid membrane.

ABSTRACT Objective Eating disorders (ED) typically emerge in adolescence, a critical period for brain development and peer bonding. Interpersonal difficulties—particularly social anxiety—frequently co‐occur with ED. Oxytocin is a neuropeptide that modulates social cognition and linked to prosocial effects.

Finite-bias electronic transport of molecules in water solution [PDF]
The effects of water wetting conditions on the transport properties of molecular nano-junctions are investigated theoretically by using a combination of classical molecular dynamics and first principles electronic transport calculations. These are at the level of the non-equilibrium Green's function method implemented for self-interaction corrected ...

ABSTRACT The human brain possesses a unique ability to switch between patterns of functional connectivity, known as brain states, which are crucial for regulating biological, cognitive, and emotional processes. These states are linked to numerous neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions, however, their relationship to clinical symptoms of anorexia ...

Progress of non‐motor symptoms in early‐onset Parkinson's disease
This study reviews the research progress related to non‐motor symptoms (NMS) in patients with early onset Parkinson's disease (EOPD), including neuropsychiatric symptoms, autonomic dysfunction, sleep disorders, and sensory disorders and also summarizes the characteristics of NMS in the genetic form of Parkinson's disease (PD).

ABSTRACT Introduction To account for the limitations of categorical taxonomies, a general psychopathology factor (p‐factor) has been proposed as a transdiagnostic dimension that captures the shared variance across various forms of psychopathology. However, further research is required to clarify the specific characteristics that define the p‐factor ...

Exploring separated children's experience of migration in Nepal
Abstract Most Nepalese children live in rural areas where poverty, employment and education act as key drivers in their decision to migrate to urban centres. This paper reports on a study which researched the experiences of separated children who migrated, as reported through interviews with 20 practitioners working in NGOs in Kathmandu.

New Physics and Single Top Production [PDF]
We show how single top production in conjunction with a variety of additional final states provides a sensitive probe of new physics. We investigate several new physics scenarios such as lepto-phobic W' model, and exotic B' model, and then perform detailed simulation analyses in s-, and tW-associated production channels.

An inquiry into the reproduction of physics-phobic children by physics-phobic teachers [PDF]
Recently in the authors' country Japan, the unpopularity of natural science among children has been a serious problem. Especially, physics is unpopular because physics requires mathematics. One of the reasons of this problem is that teachers themselves do not like physics.
