淡水饲养海豹繁殖初获成功

海豹 (Phoca vitulina) 是栖息于海洋中寒带喜冰类型的哺乳动物,它具有喜冷怕热的特点,在淡水饲养条件下,繁殖成活较为罕见。现将我园的海豹饲养繁殖情况报告如下。海豹来源 2头公海豹、1头母海豹均系1979年3月自旅大沿海地区瓦房店引入。入园当时,2头公海豹均为出生不久的小海豹。
