An Ultra‐Selective and Humidity‐Resistant Room‐Temperature‐Operated NO2 Sensor Based on Black TiO2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A room‐temperature‐operated NO2 sensor that achieves ultrahigh selectivity and humidity resistance is developed using black TiO2 for the first time in this work. A portable sensing equipment capable of recognizing NO2 from a mixed atmosphere with several common interfering gases and identifying real environmental differences is developed ...

Edible Pneumatic Battery for Sustained and Repeated Robot Actuation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents an edible energy source and valve system to power soft, pneumatically driven edible robots. A chemical reaction between sodium bicarbonate and citric acid generates carbon dioxide gas, and a pressure‐triggered edible valve enables self‐repetitive motion of the edible actuator.

All‐Biomass Nanocomposite Films via Facile and Sustainable Design Procedure for Thermal Management and Electromagnetic Interference Shielding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
All‐biomass‐derived composite films are fabricated from wheat straw–derived nanocarbon spheres and cellulose nanofibers through a simple, scalable process, which exhibit superior integrated electrical–thermal–mechanical properties and can be applied as sustainable materials for flexible electronics and green packaging.

Universal Regulation of DNA Polymerase via Photocaged Primer Enables Light‐Start Isothermal Amplification on Demand

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A simple and general photoactivatable approach is developed to regulate DNA polymerase activity, enabling light‐start isothermal amplification on demand. The molecular dynamics simulations reveals that the photocaged primer blocks DNA polymerase activity by inhibiting the conformational change of the polymerase.
