The bifunctional W/NiBP (+) || W/NiBP (−) demonstrates superior overall water splitting (OWS) performance as compared to the benchmark of Pt/C (+) || RuO2 (−). Notably, the W/NiBP (+, −) exhibits an ultra‐low cell voltage of 2.68 V at 2000 mA cm−2 high current density as compared to the benchmark value of 3.29 V.

Electric Field Inhomogeneity in Colloidal QD‐LEDs
Variations in the thickness of the quantum dot (QD) active layer in a quantum dot light emitting diode leads to variations in the local electric field strength. Thicker regions insulate the QDs from the applied electric field. Under normal operating conditions, this leads to lower electroluminescence.

Inflating hollow nanocrystals through a repeated Kirkendall cavitation process. [PDF]
The Kirkendall effect has been recently used to produce hollow nanostructures by taking advantage of the different diffusion rates of species involved in the chemical transformations of nanoscale objects.

A surface passivation strategy using yttrium acetate to suppress Mg ion migration from the ZnMgO electron transport layer is proposed. This treatment restores oxygen vacancies on the ZnMgO surface, enhancing device stability. The Cd‐free quantum dot light‐emitting diodes demonstrate a 65.5% increase in operational lifetime with an external quantum ...
