Manganese‐Incorporated Single‐Phase High‐Entropy Oxide Modified Separator Enabled High Performance of Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries at High Sulfur Loading

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This study focuses on the fabrication of manganese‐infused high entropy oxides (HEOs) for lithium–sulfur (Li–S) batteries. Incorporating a HEO‐coated Celgard separator at a low material loading (~0.23 mg cm−2), it decreases the HEO content in sulfur composite cathodes, enhancing the catalytic conversion of lithium polysulfides.

Gold(I) Phosphine/Phosphido‐Borohydride Complexes

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Accepted Article.
A homologous series of linear, mononuclear gold(I) phosphine/phosphido‐borohydride complexes, encompassing [Au(PR3)2]+ 1, [Au(PR3)(PR2BH3)] 2 and [Au(PR2BH3)2]– 3 (R = tBu, Ad), has been prepared and structurally characterised. Strong intramolecular dispersion interactions are evident in the complexes with Ad‐substituted ligands, which adopt eclipsed ...

Catalysts Design and Atomistic Reaction Modulation by Atomic Layer Deposition for Energy Conversion and Storage Applications

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
This review demonstrates the development of heterogeneous catalysts for energy conversion and storage applications using the atomic layer deposition (ALD) technique. A comprehensive survey of various types of energy‐related catalysts has been conducted.
