Microemulsions with Alkyldimethyl Phosphine Oxides and Alkyldiethyl Phosphine Oxides

Langmuir, 2008
Alkyldimethyl phosphine oxides (C n DMPO) as well as alkyldiethyl phosphine oxides (C n DEPO) with chain lengths of n = 10 (decyl), 12 (dodecyl), and 14 (tetradecyl) were synthesized and purified to study how the formation of microemulsions depends on the size of the headgroup and on the length of the alkyl chain.

Asymmetric Hydrophosphination of Heterobicyclic Alkenes: Facile Access to Phosphine Ligands for Asymmetric Catalysis

ACS Catalysis, 2019
Asymmetric hydrophosphination is the most atomically economical and straightforward approach to the construction of chiral organophosphorus compounds. Good stereoselectivities have been achieved in asymmetric hydrophosphination of an electron-deficient C═

Phosphine resistance and antioxidant enzyme activity in Trogoderma granarium Everts

, 2020
In recent study, phosphine resistance was assessed in 14 populations of Trogoderma granarium collected from North India. These populations were resistant to phosphine as compared to susceptible laboratory population and the resistance ratios at LC50 ...

From phosphine-promoted to phosphine-catalyzed reactions by in situ phosphine oxide reduction

Tetrahedron Letters, 2016
Abstract The well-known stoichiometric phosphine-promoted reactions such as the Wittig, Mitsunobu, Staudinger, Appel reactions, and others are widely used in organic chemistry. Recently, many efforts have been made to render these reactions catalytic in phosphine.

Auto-Tandem Cooperative Catalysis Using Phosphine/Palladium: Reaction of Morita-Baylis-Hillman Carbonates and Allylic Alcohols.

Angewandte Chemie, 2019
Auto-tandem catalysis (ATC), in which a single catalyst promotes two or more mechanistically different reactions in a cascade pattern, provides a powerful strategy to prepare complex products from simple starting materials.

Phosphine-Catalyzed Activation of Alkylidenecyclopropanes: Rearrangement to Form Polysubstituted Furans and Dienones.

Angewandte Chemie, 2019
We report a phosphine-catalyzed ring opening of electron-deficient alkylidenecyclopropanes (ACPs) to generate allylic phosphonium zwitterions that resemble the well-studied phosphine-allene adducts but exhibit distinct properties.
