The competitive NMDA antagonist CPP protects substantia nigra neurons from MPTP-induced degeneration in primates [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
Degeneration of nigrostriatal dopaminergic neurons is the primary histopathological feature of Parkinson's disease. The neurotoxin MPTP (1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine) induces a neurological syndrome in man and non-human primates very ...

Patterning of Lead Halide Perovskite Device Stacks on CMOS Readout Using Selective Microfabrication Protocols

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present a microfabrication and integration strategy for lead halide perovskite photodetectors on electronic readouts. Standard photolithography, aqueous processing, selective transparent electrode etching, and plasma‐assisted pixel isolation enable precise monolithic integration of patterned 400 × 400 perovskite microphotodetector arrays on a CMOS ...

Redox‐Mediated Stabilization of the Hole Transport Layer and Buried Interface Toward Stable Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A facile and effective strategy, that is, synergistic regulation of the NiOx/SAM buried interface via cesium oxalate (CsOA) modification, is developed. The CsOA treatment suppresses detrimental Ni4+ formation, promotes uniform SAM assembly, and aligns the energy levels at the hole‐transport layer/perovskite interface, enabling improved film ...

Effect of surface modification of nickel oxide hole‐transport layer via self‐assembled monolayers in perovskite solar cells

open access: yesNano Select, 2021
Self‐assembled monolayers of para‐substituted phenylphosphonic acids were used to modify the surface of nickel oxide layer, which served as the hole‐transport layer in the fabrication of inverted perovskite solar cells.

Cation–Anion Synergy Enables Uniform and Stable SAMs for High‐Efficiency Perovskite/TOPCon Tandem Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cation‐anion synergistic strategy is developed to enhance self‐assembled monolayer (SAM) adsorption using guanidinium thiocyanate (GuaSCN). Guanidinium (Gua⁺) suppresses micelle aggregation, while thiocyanate (SCN−) promotes phosphonic acid deprotonation and strengthens ionic bonding to the substrate.

Synthesis of New Benzylic Di-, Tri-, and Tetraphosphonic Acids as Potential Chelating Agents [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
New di-, tri-, and tetraphosphonic acids were synthesized starting from four o-hydroxymethyl phenol derivatives and obtained in three steps in good overall yield. The phosphonic acids were isolated and purified using semi-preparative C18 HPLC column. The

Ultrafast Interfacial Engineering for Quantifiable Control of Asymmetric Configurations in Nanostructured Janus Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Founded on a rapidly formed nanostructured tannic acid/polyethyleneimine (TA/PEI) platform, an ultrafast (∼5 min), universal interfacial engineering strategy utilizing stearoyl chloride (SC) and Phytic acid (PA) enables precise fabrication of Janus membranes across diverse substrates.

A novel and efficient method to prepare 2-aryltetrahydrofuran-2-ylphosphonic acids

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2010
A novel one-pot method was developed for the synthesis of the title compounds starting from 4-chloro-1-aryl-1-butanones 1, phosphorus trichloride and acetic acid. The end products 2 were obtained in 20–94% yield.

Trimerization of aromatic nitriles [PDF]

open access: yes, 1977
Triazine compounds and cross-linked polymer compositions were made by heating aromatic nitriles to a temperature in the range of about 100 C to about 700 C, in the presence of a catalyst or mixture of catalysts.
