Cyclic phosphonium ionic liquids [PDF]

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2014
Ionic liquids (ILs) incorporating cyclic phosphonium cations are a novel category of materials. We report here on the synthesis and characterization of four new cyclic phosphonium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)amide ILs with aliphatic and aromatic pendant groups.

Phosphonium-Templated Iodoplumbates [PDF]

open access: yesACS Omega, 2018
A new family of iodoplumbates based on phosphonium cations have been synthesized and characterized via X-ray crystallography. Thermogravimetric analysis demonstrates that these materials have a remarkably high thermal stability and show potential for applications as organic-inorganic hybrid semiconductors.

Crystal structure of (n-butyl)[2-(2,6-dimethoxyphenyl)-6-methylphenyl](2-methoxyphenyl)phosphonium chloride monohydrate [PDF]

open access: goldActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications, 2016
The title hydrated salt, C26H32O3P+·Cl−·H2O, contains four different substituents (H, alkyl, aryl, and biaryl) on the P atom. The P—H hydrogen atom of the phosphonium ion was located in a difference Fourier map and refined without imposing additional ...
