Synthesis and Luminescence Properties of Eu2+-Doped Sr3MgSi2O8 Blue Light-Emitting Phosphor for Application in Near-Ultraviolet Excitable White Light-Emitting Diodes

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2022
In this study, [Sr0.99Eu0.01]3MgSi2O8 phosphors were sintered at 1200–1400 °C for 1–5 h by using the solid-state reaction method. The crystallinity and morphology of these phosphors were characterized through X-ray diffraction analysis and field-emission

Enhanced Scintillation with Uncorrelated TL and OSL Signals in LiCaAlF6:Eu Nanoparticles Enables Unprecedented Multimodal Radiation Dosimetry

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
The graphical abstract illustrates the coexistence of independent OSL and TL signals, demonstrating that the material preserves TL information even after complete OSL zeroing, enabling a dual dosimetric readout within the same material. Abstract The development of multimodal dosimeters capable of preserving independent luminescent signals is a ...

Seasonality and Phosphate Fertilization in Carbohydrates Storage: Carapa guianensis Aubl. Seedlings Responses

open access: yesPlants, 2022
The low availability of phosphorus and water in soil can promote the remobilization of carbohydrates in the plant, releasing energy to mitigate stress. In this context, our objective was to analyze the production and allocation of carbohydrates in plants

Temperature‐Dependent Zinc Oxide Cathodoluminescence: Toward Compact Wavelength‐Tunable Solid‐State Photoionization Sources

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A proof‐of‐concept of a thermally‐tunable cathodoluminescence‐based light source is demonstrated using a wide‐bandgap z‐cut ZnO crystal as anode, resulting in the ultraviolet (UV) emission peak shifting from 398 nm to ~409 nm (3.115‐3.032 eV). Our results establish the feasibility of a compact, field‐deployable UV source with potential for gas sensing ...

LITERATURE REVIEW: PERANAN ACAULOSPORA TERHADAP PENYERAPAN FOSFOR PADA AKAR TANAMAN SINGKONG

open access: yesJTSL (Jurnal Tanah dan Sumberdaya Lahan)
Mycorrhiza is a form of mutualistic symbiosis between plant roots (rhiza) and fungi (mykes). Plants will get various kinds of nutrients, especially phosphorus (P) from their mycorrhiza, while mycorrhiza will get carbon (C) from plants.
